Hi, I’m Alicia, the hands and heart behind Medika Organics.

I started making natural soap and body care in 2016, looking for gentler, cleaner, more nourishing products for my family’s skin. One batch led to another, and before long, I fell in love with the entire process. 

The ingredients. The creativity. The calm that comes from stirring something wholesome and pure by hand. And the peace of mind of knowing exactly what I was putting on my family's skin. 

What started as a hobby soon became my business, helping people care for their skin naturally, while creating a slower, more meaningful way of life for myself too.

Why the name "Medika"?

Medika (pronounced mah-DEE-kah) is a beautiful Indigenous word meaning native water lilies.

I chose this name to honour my great grandma Lily, a proud Wiradjuri woman and a survivor of the stolen generations. This business is a tribute to her, created with love and deep respect for my family and my heritage.

These days, I’m proud that Medika Organics brings handmade products into more homes, and connects me with an incredible community of like-minded people who care about what they use on their skin.

No factories. No synthetic fragrances. No hype.
