Caring for your soap
Every bar of soap I make is filled with skin-loving ingredients and handmade with care. To help you get the most out of your soap, here are a few simple tips:
1. Lather with care. Instead of rubbing the bar directly on your skin, try using a washcloth or soap bag, or just rub the bar between your hands to build up a lather, then set it aside and wash your body with your hands. Your soap will thank you!
2. Enjoy it fresh. Natural soap is best enjoyed within 6 to 12 months for the creamiest lather and most vibrant scent.
3. Keep it dry between uses. Let your soap rest on a well-draining dish so it doesn't sit in water - this helps it last longer.
4. Let it breathe. Giving your soap a chance to dry out between washes means it will stay firm and last even longer.
5. Tuck extra bars away. Storing spare soaps in a cool, dry place like a linen cupboard or dresser drawer keeps them at their best and makes your towels and clothes smell amazing!
I hope you love using my soaps as much as I love making them for you.
