I use natural and organic ingredients, and work with trusted local suppliers who share my values. I craft each small-batch product by hand, with love and intention. I choose packaging with care, keeping waste to a minimum. And I’m always learning, growing and improving.

My home studio in Moreton Bay, Queensland is where every soap, balm and body care product you’ll find on this website is made. Every bar is cut by hand. Every ingredient carefully chosen. Every scent blended with pure essential oils to uplift, calm or refresh.

Market days are my favourite — chatting with customers, swapping soap stories and watching new people discover the beauty of something genuinely natural and handmade.

Hi, I’m Alicia — the hands and heart behind Medika Organics.

I started making natural soap and body care in 2016, looking for gentler, cleaner and more nourishing products for my family’s skin. One batch led to another, and before long I fell completely in love with the process — the ingredients, the creativity, the calm that comes from stirring something wholesome and pure by hand, and the peace of mind of knowing exactly what I was putting on my family’s skin.

What started as a hobby became a business — and a slower, more meaningful way of life. These days, Medika Organics brings Australian-made, small-batch handmade products into homes across the country, and connects me with an incredible community of like-minded people who care about what they put on their skin.

Why the name “Medika”?

Medika (pronounced mah-dee-kah) is a beautiful Indigenous word meaning native water lilies. I chose this name to honour my great grandma Lily, a proud Wiradjuri woman and a survivor of the Stolen Generations. This business is a tribute to her — created with love and deep respect for my family and my heritage.
